ABSTRACT

Remedial actions of reclaimed areas rely on the restoration of utility values to areas damaged as a result of human activity. Carrying out activities aimed at restoring natural and non-natural values requires the development of project documentation. Geodesic documentation is an indispensable element. The use of adequate measurement methods and data visualization algorithms supports the process of transforming degraded areas. On the example of embankment on the campus of the Kielce University of Technology, presents methods of graphical and statistical analysis of areas undergoing reclamation. Optimal interpolation algorithms were selected and basic statistical analyzes were performed. Areas under recultivation require geodetic monitoring of all stages of work. Geodetic monitoring supports the determination of the safety of objects within the area’s impact. The presented methods of analysis indicate the direction and manner of preparing the geodetic documentation of reclamation areas. The most important element is the optimization of measurement networks for various observation methods and the selection of modeling algorithms for the protection of reclaimed areas.
