ABSTRACT

The bearings have been applied in many industrial fields, such as mechanical engineering, electric motors, automation, cars, and motorcycles. It can work effectively under heavy load conditions [1–3]. Traditionally, the roller’s surface was fabricated by CNC turning and grinded finishing [4]. This machining process requires a large amount of time to achieve the required surface quality. Besides, the manufacturing environments such as force, velocity, accuracy, and vibrations of the machine greatly affect the efficiency of the conventional cylindrical roller fabrication process. Therefore, the manufacturing cost will be increased, and production yield will be low.
