ABSTRACT

The influence of potash fertilizers on the dynamics of potassium exchange in arable and subsurface layers was established in long-term field experiments with the systematic application of fertilizers on different soils. It is shown that with a positive potassium balance, the content of exchange potassium in the arable layer changes due to the transition of exchange forms to nonexchange ones. With a negative balance of potassium, the reverse process occurs, that is the transition of nonexchange forms to exchange ones.
