ABSTRACT

In America, several schools have also tested digital books and used the technology to allow students to interact with texts, e-documents, and notes and share their notes with other students. One e-textbook pilot project took place on the Courseload e-reading platform within a 300-level accounting class at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management in 2012. Textbooks are an instructional aid in the teaching-learning process and must correspond to curricula objectives, content, and instruction methodology. E-textbooks are designed to help student self-learning and self-discovery. A teacher gives home tasks to students in the previous class lesson; students then access the given website and work through the content requested by their teacher at home. Ramified learning in an e-book environment allows us to remedy the weak points of traditional learning. E-book learning allows us to educate an infinite number of students independently of learning space, learning time, and learning place.
