ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a critical and narrative review that focuses on the applications of nanotechnology for NP management using molecular targets, diagnosis as well as delivery of drugs using nanotechnology. The Pubmed, Google Scholar, and EMBASE databases were utilized to provide current updates on nanotechnology-mediated strategy for the treatment of NP. Articles were screened by suitable title, keywords, abstracts, and full-length research papers. Due to the multiple pathology of NP, nanomedical as well as nano-pharmaceutical approach varies from acute to chronic pain conditions. Hence, physicians must consider current and growing approaches to provide satisfactory care for patients. Challenges associated with nanotechnology will need to be overcome by translational research.
