ABSTRACT
With the rapid development of the Internet and the rapid expansion of electronic information, how to organize and manage this information effectively and how to find the information needed by users quickly, accurately, and comprehensively has become one of the hot topics of the state-of-the-art information science and technology. The cloud computing platform is a typical example of distributed computing and also an important means of classification of algorithm acceleration. The Rocchio algorithm is an algorithm based on the vector space model and the minimum distance. The algorithm has a good feedback function. The accumulation unit contains a number of processing elements (PE), which are responsible for the calculation of the two vectors in one certain dimension. This chapter proposes a general classification accelerator based on the field programmable gate array (FPGA) platform that can support three different classification algorithms of five different similarities.
