ABSTRACT
This chapter concludes Part I with the discussion of two properties of KdV systems. The first one is a set of infinite conservation relations, e.g., conservation laws. The second is the dynamics of KdV soliton in the presence of dissipation. We group these two concepts together because the dissipation analysis leverages the conservation concept.
