ABSTRACT
The dielectric resonator probe configuration illustrated in Figure 4.12 employs a dielectric resonator sandwiched between two conductive metal plates in a “post resonator” configuration. The “post resonator” is a special configuration of the dielectric resonator. In a “post resonator,” the xy surfaces of the resonator are conductive (e.g., metalized).
