ABSTRACT

The need for accurate yet computational efficient tools for advanced nonlinear inelastic analysis of 3D steel and RC frameworks forms the main motivation behind of this work. The computer program, developed fully integrates a 3D eigen analysis and a 3D non-linear inelastic analysis, based on fiber member model, in conjunction with advanced performance evaluation functions, following an approach outlined in the next sections. Two computational examples are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the reliability and time saving of the code.
