ABSTRACT
The project was divided in 10 phases that were finished in 2007 and the phase described in this paper, was phase 2, to connect the villages of Arroyomolinos and Valdemoro.
REDSUR will improve the communications of 1.3 million people going to and from Madrid, who live in the southwest region, which supports a very heavy traffic of vehicles between 20,000 and 60,000 every day and whose roads have remained saturated during recent years. Near to the Parla village this new motorway M-410 crosses the existing one A-42, which connects Madrid with Toledo (Fig. 3).
