ABSTRACT
Extreme sea conditions that involve waves with large amplitude up to freak waves have always been an area of interest for naval architects. Knowledge about the behaviour of the sea going vessels in these extreme conditions is very limited due to the unavailability of real data and the complexity involved with the reproduction of such large deterministic wave profile in the wave tank. Due to the same reason validation of the numerical codes in the extreme sea condition is not widely done.
