But the knock against organic field crop production continues to be that strategies to manage energy, nutrients, and weeds are evolving too slowly. The tool box for organic producers is insufficiently full or too expensive to properly implement. This book tackles these criticisms in a realistic way, reviewing the state of the science to identify the strengths, weaknesses, and challenges of organic field crop production in the industrial world in a clear-headed and balanced way.
