ABSTRACT
According to Olohan (2004) the use of corpora in translation study can be seen as linguistic, empirical, quantitative, data-based or data-driven. That is to say the application of corpora is a research methodology serving the translation study, which requires development, adaptation, and refinement. This paper aims to introduce a super mini-corpus applied in a ChineseEnglish translation study carried out by the author and the alignment of the corpus, which is a precondition for a successful analysis of date in the corpus.
