ABSTRACT
As regards the naval environment, Colwell (1989) pointed out that significant biodynamic problems are encountered at low frequencies, neglected by the ISO classification based on the frequency range. Furthermore, naval environment is defined as the combination of naval population and the motions to which it is exposed; and for any particular type of vessel, the motions experienced depend on ocean environment, vessel characteristics, and operating procedures.
