Guiding new teachers' learning from classroom experience

This self-study reviews five years of work in a role created by a major structural change in the pre-service teacher education program at Queen’s University. Initiating a career-long process of learning from experience through reflective practice was a major goal of the change. As a result, an extended practicum experience of ten weeks now occurs early in the eight-month post-degree program.
