ABSTRACT
In this case, Mrs. Pitts noticed her students with disabilities were sitting on the sidelines. She wanted to do something about it from a cultural perspective. She started a program called Peer Buddy Physical Education that paired students with and without disabilities. She received a grant and bought everyone shirts and portfolios to keep track of progress. The culture of the entire school changed for the better, and students with disabilities were more fully included after the implementation of the program.
