ABSTRACT

The chapter deals with the juridification of the Polish university, which is analysed in relation to the changes in the legal framework governing the general form of the system of science and higher education. The conclusions drawn from this analysis make it possible to present the concept of juridification as a self-reinforcing process. The first steps of state authorities, limited at the beginning and aimed at arranging a certain space of social life, generate a logic in which legal mechanisms begin to regulate more and more precisely the activity of subordinate organizations.
