ABSTRACT

The title is a Tamil proverb that means: “What we have learned is a fistful; what we haven’t learned is a world full.” The chapter narrates how the author (also the teacher and researcher of the LAs presented in this book) has reconsidered and revised his own writing and teaching practice in the contexts of the performance by his students. The chapter suggests how teaching and writing development are ongoing. It particularly demonstrates how the author has progressed to more bold and creative ways of practicing translingual writing in his teaching and scholarship.
