ABSTRACT

Colorado State University (CSU) is revising the student course survey to encourage evidence-based teaching that draws on national research, local data, and innovative methods. Our chapter will discuss this case of institutional change to suggest five principles for building an effective campus-wide collaboration: grounding efforts in key institutional values; mobilizing existing structures; seeking campus-wide feedback, understanding, and buy-in; aligning with key central administration goals; and building a collaborative implementation group.
