ABSTRACT
An anthology such as Counternarratives from Women of Color Academics is both groundbreaking and foundation-building. It not only disrupts a variety of hegemonic structures, but it also speaks into existence imaginings of a world in which we “respect, honor and celebrate differences” (Audre Lorde 1 ). It does so by offering strategies, possibilities, and plans for structures framed in and through justice.
