ABSTRACT
Drawing on a decade of experience in directing and delivering a Higher Education Academy (D1) accredited programme for PhD students who wish to pursue an academic career, this chapter explores the use of portfolio-based assessment in developing the next generation of academics who go on to work across the globe.
