ABSTRACT
In this chapter, Ann Margaret Sharp discusses various stages a teacher grows through in learning to teach philosophically, including learning to recognize philosophical dimensions of her own and her students’ experience, and to facilitate rigorous inquiry into questions about them. In addition, Sharp offers practical advice for the novice teacher practicing philosophy in the classroom.
