ABSTRACT
Throughout time, all cultures have danced as an integral part of life. When we explore various cultures, we become aware of the direct link between dance and life. This chapter will include information about how researchers have explored various aspects of culture through qualitative research methodologies. Dance ethnography will be explained with examples from the literature. The chapter continues with sample projects conducted by undergraduate students, potential topics for future research and discussion questions.
