ABSTRACT
This chapter presents an extract of a letter from Sarah Tucker to Lucy regarding the status of native women in India. In the letter, Tucker gives an account of Mrs. Winckler and her school. Tucker also provides information on the state of children at Mrs. Winckler’s school.
