ABSTRACT
Modeling of physical phenomena often leads to ODEs along with the conditions in which the unknown or its derivative or both are specified at more than one point. Such conditions are called the boundary conditions and the ODE along with the boundary conditions are called the boundary value problem (BVP). Throughout the chapter, we consider the boundary conditions prescribed at the end points of an interval where the ODE is posed. Such problems are called two point boundary value problems.
