ABSTRACT

Executive summary: The Personal Software Process (PSP) was created by Watts Humphrey and is aimed at individual software engineers. Although PSP is usually partnered with Watts’ team software process (TSP) methodology, it can be used by itself for small individual projects. Because of its discipline and excellent measurement practices, PSP is a good background for many methods such as Agile, RUP, spiral, extreme programming (XP), and others.
