Patient Assessment The patient was in good condition and the limb was placed in a Robert Jones bandage soon after the injury. She was considered a good candidate for surgery and bone healing.
Fracture Assessment Closed, long, oblique fracture of the distal 3rd of the right tibia with one large fragment (Figures 2.28A-B).
