ABSTRACT
The last cultural enabler of the Shingo Prize is people development. As with leadership and ethics, this is potentially a huge topic. There are many approaches to developing people as well as many good reasons to do so. However, for our purpose, the primary focus is on developing people who are sufficiently competent to engage in the implementation and successful practice of lean process manufacturing.
