ABSTRACT
The semiclassical model provides an intuitive picture of high-harmonic and attosecond pulse generation. One of the successes of the model is the prediction of the cutoff photon energy; however, it does not give the strength of the radiation. The phase information of the harmonic field is also missing to a certain degree.
