ABSTRACT
At ‹rst glance, there is not much that can be done in an FPGA. In the time domain, the signal arrival time depends on the velocity of the particle and the position of the hit on the TOF counter. In space, the hits of particles from the two-body decay are not separated 180° “back-to-back.” The separation angle depends on the decay momentum and polar angle of the tracks.
