ABSTRACT
The Oil Pollution Response Service (OPRS) of the Portuguese Maritime Authority Directorate General (MADG) is the body that keeps the records of all spill incidents that are detected in Portuguese Waters. Their data base has presently about 2000 records, many of them from hazardous substances.
