ABSTRACT
In a recent article reflecting on Additive Manufacturing (AM) development in South Africa, Campbell et al [Campbell et al, 2011] points out that the RSA has embraced Rapid Prototyping (RP) as a method of revolutionizing its industry. They concluded that good progress has been made against a previously reported road map and that current development plans should remain in place, with the addition of a greater educational dimension.
