ABSTRACT
DNA amplification (mostly by polymerase chain reaction [PCR]) and other subsequent DNA analysis (including hybridization, sequencing, and genotyping) have been facilitated by the use of the microfluidic chip. These applications are described in detail in subsequent sections.
