DEFINITION German Shepherd Dog (GSD) pyoderma is an idiopathic, chronic, recurrent ulcerative and exudative disease predominantly seen in GSDs and GSD crosses1,2. Whether it is a true primary pyoderma or primarily an immune-mediated disease is controversial.
