Dade County (geography) The largest COUNTY in Florida with a population of 2 million people, many of whom are retired and others who are bilingual (i.e., Spanish-English) Cubans and HISPANICS. The COUNTY SEAT is MIAMI. Its land area includes part of the EVERGLADES, fruit and vegetable farms and tourist resorts on the Atlantic Ocean coast.
