ABSTRACT

At the end of every workshop I teach, I express gratitude for being allowed to help people make their stories. The process continues to feel as rich and varied as every individual that comes through the door. People tell us at CDS that we have a great job, and we cannot argue, it is a privilege to listen and work with people through story. From the beginning of our work, people were interested in how they could become facilitators in our methods. We ran many formal training of trainers between 1993 and 2003, developed many facilitative guides, including this textbook. But it was not until 2004 we began to sharpen our perspective about the process, and develop much more formal materials for the training.
