ABSTRACT
In this chapter and subsequent chapters, the key roles of planning and organisation will be discussed. It is hardly possible to separate these issues, both of which include assessment. Planning the content of the curriculum extends into planning how that curriculum shall be implemented and the organisation of the school and the classroom for that purpose. The organisation of the school and the classroom, in turn, affects and constrains content.
