ABSTRACT
Unless otherwise indicated the following provisions are applicable to procedures in this chapter.
The procedures in this chapter apply in Scotland but not in Northern Ireland (sect. 84).
Sect. 18(7)(a) of HASAWA 1974 defines enforcing authority as ‘the Executive (HSE) or any other authority which is by relevant statutory provision or by regulations . . . made responsible for the enforcement of any of the provisions to any extent’.
