ABSTRACT

The integration of digital technologies in higher education will prompt several broader innovations. The digital technologies in higher education are ubiquitous. Digital classes transform the education process and cause universal interactivity between students and their faculty all around the world. Digital classrooms also reduce the gap of qualification and knowledge of students in different geographical areas. The digital environment helps students to share their ideas and experiences. Digital technologies comprises all forms of electronically supported learning and teaching tools in tertiary education. The relevance of digital technologies in higher education is also expected to influence the intensity of New Educational Technologies (NET) use. Most of the students of engineering and management courses and research scholars are extensive users of digital technologies while the majority of students pursuing art and commerce courses are limited users of NET. The statistical model shows that the association between use of digital technologies and Impact-1 is positive but insignificant.
