ABSTRACT
Allegory – A story or other art form that contains an implicit message, often political or moral. The characters and events in an allegorical story represent or symbolise ideas or issues relevant to human life. An allegory can also be thought of as an extended metaphor, and an example of a story that is not true, but which tells you something true.
