ABSTRACT

Wellbeing is a mindset, a way of thinking. It is deeper than happiness. It is reflected by a prevailing attitude to regulate our feelings as we face the tribulations of life. We build wellbeing by valuing healthy relationships with friends and family, being keen to find positive solutions to problems, sharing complications with valued others, and striking a healthy balance between all things in life. When we fail to balance these things, our sleep, fitness, memory, emotions, tolerance, learning and relationships are worse off.
