ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the authors analyse their research methodology in designing and implementing structural equation modelling to discourses on renewable energies. They explain the data collection process while the second provides a detailed overview of the interpretation of the model created and constructs the research hypothesis. The authors explore the course taken in collecting and organizing the data and designing the overall model to be tested. They explain the research design which underlines the statistical configuration and the subsequent empirical analysis of the relationships between different social actors. The specification of the scope of the automatic retrieval of the corpus text materials rests upon the aim of the corpus research. The authors analyse the interaction and relationships between different social actors and sectoral agents which all contribute to the growing clean energy discourse and consumption cultures in China and Japan.
