ABSTRACT

This chapter provides an outline of the first literacy leadership team (LLT) meeting. The goal of this text is improvement–improving curriculum and improving instruction to improve literacy outcomes. During the next phase of the meeting, school administrator will work in small groups to assess school-wide literacy data and survey results pertaining to literacy instructional practices. Literacy leadership team whole-group discussion. After the gallery walk, engage in a larger discussion about what was observed about literacy practices and the curriculum within school administrators' district. The LLT should break into their expert groups, and the chair of each group should distribute materials.
