ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses some of common questions and concerns language teachers and learners have concerning the use of exemplars (sample essays) in a second or foreign language classroom. In an easy-to-read Q&A format, this chapter, which is based on a published journal article (Chong, 2019), covers a range of topics related to exemplar-based writing instruction, from theory to practice.
