ABSTRACT

This chapter offers essential well-being tips that can be added into health professionals' own and their students’ day as needed. Mental health and well-being are nourished by self-compassion and self-care as well as involvement in character strength and personality-related endeavours. By adding well-being to The Confident Minds Curriculum, professionals will be better prepared to rise to challenges and responsibly manage difficult feelings. Without well-being, improvements can be short-lived. D. Goleman Emotional intelligence comprises of self-awareness, being attuned to other people's feelings and knowing how to manage professionals' thoughts and feelings in healthy ways. J. D. Mayer and P. Salovey Healthy social connections with others are essential for well-being. Well-being is the foundation for better emotional health and resilience. By encouraging healthy well-being, a springboard for a confident mindset is at professionals fingertips. R.
