ABSTRACT
This conclusive chapter provides a common template for the previously exposed ‘counter-methods’ and attitudes of object-oriented cartography. It recognises the aporia of such a cartographic theory, but also the challenging, destabilising effects on existing approaches to maps and mappings. The chapter invites the reader to become attuned to the unpredictable lives of maps in our everyday cartographic environment.
