ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces a key typology developed by Janet Salmons for working with your identified assets. You can extract, condense, expand, adapt, or apply parts of your previous work for publication. The chapter explains how each of these options works and illustrates how they can be used. We also review what you need to consider to reach your target audience(s), as well as the ethical aspects of writing. Our PIPs show how some of this can work in practice. The exercises are designed to help embed learning from the chapter to suit your own individual plans.
