ABSTRACT
The clothes rail screens environment is suitable for involving the students in setting it up. This chapter provides instructions for creating the clothes rail screens environment. It presents an example of how this environment has been used. A clothes rail screen as used in Bamboozle’s touring production of Crazy Hair can be used in the classroom too. Lengths of fabric can be torn up and hung from the top rail, in much the same way as the rope is used, to make an effective screen for hiding behind or entering through. The clothes rail screen can also be used to create an entrance that students can clamber through.
