ABSTRACT

Projecting images onto a screen has many uses. A projector screen or interactive whiteboard will do the job, but they look as if they belong in the corporate training room or a conventional class lesson. Using newsprint to create a screen can give it a more creative feel. This chapter provides information on equipment needed and instructions for creating the projection screen environment. It discusses the ways to make use of the projection screen environment. The chapter provides an example of how this environment has been used. In the example the students were on a quest to rescue a woman who was lost in the mountains. To heighten the tension, a challenge was introduced in the form of a powerful and mysterious character.
