ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses two environments, umbrella canopy and umbrella tent. The umbrella canopy is a group activity, whereas the umbrella tent an individual one. They can be used separately or together. The umbrella canopy is most suitable to be set up before the students enter. The students can then add to the umbrellas. The umbrella tent is ideal for involving students in the making process. This chapter provides information on equipment needed and instructions for creating the umbrella canopy and umbrella tent environments. It discusses the ways to make use of umbrella canopy and umbrella tent. In the umbrella tent, a student can lie beneath the umbrella and interact with objects hanging from it. The chapter also presents an example how the umbrella tent environment has been used.
